My name is Chelsi. Ophelia Seven is the name of a character in a book I wrote a couple of years ago. I’ve kind of been hooked on the name ever since. You can call me whatever you want. I’ll answer to lots of things including, but not limited to, the following: Chelsi, Chels, Cheese, Cheez-It, Chessie, Chelanie, Spooner's Sister, and Hey You!.

I love music. I can’t play or sing, but my days are filled with lyrics and melodies and guitar riffs. I’ve been no stranger to the world of fandom since I was twelve (about twelve years ago), starting out with my eensie weensie crush on Zac Hanson, and continuing on into the Tokio Hotel fandom, that sometimes reminds me of the good ol’ days in the Hanson fandom. But music has been a huge part of my life for over twenty years. It inspires everything I do, the way I do things, and the way I see things. A song can change your entire life, and I know, because twelve years ago, one changed mine.

I write. It’s all I can do -- all I know how to do. I’ve been writing since I was eight, maybe earlier, but definitely since then. I’ve done short stories, long stories, poetry (oh God, none of it was good), and non-fictional pieces. I stick to fiction, though, because it’s easier than the truth. With fiction, you can create whatever you want, whoever you want, wherever you want. Fiction has to make sense, and I like that there’s always going to be a rhyme and a reason.

I’m twenty-four years old. Feel much older, and sometimes act much younger. I buy lottery tickets when I have money to blow, which is very rare lately, and I like plain vanilla ice cream. Although, if you ask me tomorrow, I might say Strawberry. My motto is that life is about making good memories -- carpe diem and all that jazz -- and taking lots of pictures.

Kind of boring, but music and writing are my life. Anything else? Just ask. I promise I’m a very friendly person when the occasion arises. =)
